Portal Procedural Wrecks Change Maze When You Return To Base
I'm on dev branch. I went to a new portal wreck location. It had 2 wrecks in it with different entrances. I started to clear one with the large spiral staircase. I dropped flares at the intersections marking off my path. I found a room with a bunch of chests and I couldn't loot them all. There was flickering in the textiles going from one design to another which was annoying and I F8 bug reported it. I returned to base and emptied my inventory. I saved and quit. I came back later and went to the wreck and my flares were gone. It seemed a different path too. I started marking with flares and did come across one old flare in a non intersection which was weird. The room I had left couldn't be found. I was redoing my markings and looting. I returned to base to unload, came back, I was back to the original layout with those flares. Some of my secondary flares could be seen too in the middle of large rooms or stuck under walls. I went back to looting and was able to find the fusion room and vault room. I went back to base and returned, switched layout again. I ran around and found the fusion room and the vault room and you enter in different places. Where openings were wall were now. I kept going back and forth and the wreck maze rooms would change. I cannot find that original room I half looted with the flickering tiles anymore. Flares are now useless and confusing. Is anyone else having this issue? Are they now doing this on purpose? What exactly is the purpose of this?

Having the same issue. I've investigated a wreck and had signs with informations and directions mounted all over the corridors to find my way. I took the loot and went back to my main base. Meanwhile I did a lot of various work before returning to this wreck, including looting other wrecks. When I finally returned I found the wreck completely different from before. In the entrance was a staircase, just unlike before, the maze was completely different and the few signs I still could find were hanging oddly in the air. I found that a little bit frustrating. What's the reason for that?

I'm not on dev branch (if I am I don't know about it, that is). I'm still on the normal site, no portals yet.

FWIW, I think it must be due to the temporary nature of the portal biomes; I've found that I can go back and forth without it changing only if I DON'T save and quit the game; if I do, when I reload I'll find that the portal biome looks the same but some of the chests are moved around or some such, and the mazes in the ships will have changed - and sometimes there's been a ship added or subtracted to or from the area.

So, in my games at least, if I want to clear a ship, I have to make sure to do it BEFORE I save and quit the game. That's just playing on my own, mind you, not co-op.

Anyway, if I am going to portal and clear a wreck I try to make sure I clear the entire thing before I quit the game. Saving the game without exiting doesn't seem to make the maze shift. It only shifts if you exit and load.

It was happening to me even if I didn't save and quit. I suspect some of the wrecks to be more susceptible than others. Either way, they should never change once you enter them it.
