Lavaum frog in Volcano

There is no water in the volcano area, so where would the frog eggs be? I'm looking for the Lavaum eggs and it's supposed to be found in the volcano. Any suggestions ?

They are in the little ponds just like the other frog eggs. You just gotta look around. I have only found 3 or 4 I think and that is all. If there is more I can't find them.

Yes but there aren't any puddles anywhere in the volcano area. Are they around the outside? I've been all over that area where there is lava and there are no puddles.

They are very hard to see. They are small and the same color as the terrain. Except for a small water puddle. Like I said I only know of a few in that entire area. Look away from the lava at the grounds around it. They are not right next to the lava. I believe there are a couple in the southern area of that biome and one near the ship area. I'm going off memory as I'm not im game right now. Here is what your looking for.
