Drone crafting unlocks too early

As soon as you get autocrafter you can make T1 drones but they don't work. You drop it and it just hovers in the air doing nothing.

Later you can unlock drone station which maybe will make them work and in its descriptions it says that you will be able to craft drones after that unlock. So maybe autocrafter shouldn't be able to craft drones until you unlock the drone station.

It is far too easy to unlock items so early that you cant use them yet.

I just unlocked the Beehive, but don't yet have the device to make the Bee larvae, lol

That's what happens when you have a large imbalance of o2/Heat/Pressure/Biomass.

If you get way more of something than another thing, you're going to unlock some things earlier than intended with relation to other things.

But, just be patient or try to bump up the things that are lagging behind. Heat and Pressure unlocks are done fairly early, it's mainly TI, o2, and biomass that need balanced. If you unlock something like the beehive but you can't build an incubator yet, go look through your unlocks and figure out what's missing so you know what you need more of.

They actually created a far too easy way to cause a balance issue, they added the Optimizer into the game.

My Pressure and O2 are so high due to finding one of each Fuse while searching wrecks, if i can find a Heating Fuse then i will be able to correct the issue, lol

You will eventually be able to buy fuses once you unlock the trading rocket and get yourself a decent source of TTs.

Otherwise, there's not really a whole heck of a lot that's gated behind Heat unlocks. You can always build a few more heaters to make up for the discrepancy (and you can build an infinite number of T2 Nuclear Reactors if you need energy to power them once you get a T2 ore miner in the Uranium cave).

Ah. That's why my Drone is doing nothing.

It is even worse..you can not move or deconstruct that thing. If you drop it in the middle of your gangway you get a problem I guess.

Yeah, but you can go through it and build through it so it doesn't hinder you at least. It just looks bad but nothing too serious (I also had such a drone parked in the middle of the crafting area and then just built storages even with it in the way).

I now got the control center and that drone parked itself there and after assigning some suppliers and demanders is now working.

I am there too. The Drones are awesome! I love this automatisation! No more walk to far away mining stations required. And all other tiersome task are automated now even the trading production and selling. So cool that this is possible.
That game is really good.
