- I tried many different game genres with Overwhelmingly positive reviews & asked myself why do so many people enjoy this game when i do not.
Unlike Subnautica, Planet Crafter changes about midway through so that survival is no longer a struggle, and you gradually come to dominate the planet, focusing on terraforming, unlocking technology, and creativity. Whether that's good or bad depends on why you got bored with Subnautica.
You can try Planet Crafter for free by playing Planet Crafter: Prologue, which has been updated to 1.0. It is the exact same game, but terraforming and technology unlocking stops when you reach blue skies. I think the Demo is the same as the Prologue. Your saved game will carry over to the full game if you then choose to buy it.
