Auto sequence DNA: you can label storages that pull into and out of the DNA Manipulator and Incubator and auto starts them
Purge when full: activates shredders and recyclers when full
Pin Recipe: shows selected recipes on UI so you don't have to keep running back to see what you need
Quick store: hotkey moves your items in inventory into storages with matching items nearby
Show grab and mine count: When picking up items or mining ore add a number to it to show amount in inventory
Show Player Tooltip Item Count: When in an inventory or build screen, in the tooltip of an item, show the number of items of the same type in the player's backpack.
"Better Jetpack" (just because its nice to be able to fly high and it's more realistic).
"Autocrafter Tweaks" (with it's improved range I don't have to keep trying to cram more storage around the autocrafter).
After playing over 1100 hours in this game, I believe they distort the meaning of the game. However, I happen to edit save files quite often to make what I build look better and to fix bugs in the game. What I can't set precisely, I correct the coordinates in the save and then everything fits. What is not in the game menu and is in the code I can bring to light. Yeah. I replace glass walls with full walls or with a laboratory window. I fill the holes after connecting the modules for full walls. I put the blue chests on top of each other and build a wall for small items. I change the location of foundations if they collide with rocks or other elements, e.g. a launch pad. I change the height and location of the devices being built, such as reactors, heaters or water collectors, so that they do not sink into the foundations. Probably some other little things, but you can do it without mods and the game looks better.
I don't want it to be easier, but better, the degree of difficulty, some limitations that the game puts are necessary for a reasonable gameplay. However, the quality of workmanship is another matter, I try to improve it to please the eye.
The jetpack itself in this form annoys me a bit but I'm not going to mod it. Maybe someday the creators will make it possible to fly above the treetops, not among the foliage, that it will not turn off after contact with anything and I will not sink into every crevice - terrible experience of exploring shelves in a maze using a jetpack. Maybe they'll fix it, we'll see, for now you have to live with it.
But from what I remember, I liked the mods that increase the volume of the equipment by adding more backpacks and automatic feeding, because I often forget to use oxygen, water or food, even though I always have it in my backpack. But this also turned out to be a distortion over time, although it was convenient but I don't want to use it because it is to facilitate and bypass the requirements of the game, while I'm just trying to improve the appearance. Even the rock inside the base is an attraction and can be admired as a geological exhibit without losing oxygen :)

I've played with mods on a lot of not finished games also 1,0 does not mean the game is done. 7D2D is a good example as is M&B Bannerlord.. updates still break the mods on those games.
You guys don't feel like mods are needed and/or don't like them cool then simply don't comment.
Also, as for updates I just create a copy of the game that I launch from desktop and then decide when and where I want to update the steam version so it does not have any effect on my mods.
That beacon mod sounds nice I have like 12 beacons and had to write down what ever color meant haha..
My next mod might be called dramamine.
- Auto sequence DNA has been mentioned, and I use it too. Got tired of running back and forth between storage and machines.
- Craft from containers is also one I'm very happy about. I have a very forgetful brain, I always forget what and how many of an item I need.
- Inventory stacking. A thing that always annoy me, too small stack size. And in this case, no stacking at all.
Exactly what I did until I found out that there is a mod... I got lost A LOT when I started playing (...and later on also, ehem) and placed so many beacons that I ran out of colors...
I use the Item Stacking mod, which is extremely convinient, although some may consider it cheating (I don't care).
I have also tweaked my running speed, because it irritates me to no end when ingame characters walk too slow.
And I have the Craft From Containers mod - much more fun for me not to have to run back and forth and check recipes all the time when I want to build/craft something.
Recently I installed the Autocrafter tweaks one that allows you to increase the range of the Autocrafter. I have, however, only one Autocrafter and only use it sporadically when I need a bunch of something and don't want to do all the clicking (HQ Food, Bacteria Samples, Mutagens for example)
You learned that many players do not use mods so the answers were not "useless". When you shout a question to the entire world, expect an entire world of responses. Including people who actually read the question and not your mind.
