Do custom difficulty settings block achievements?

I want to play hardcore but I do not like the landing spot. If I change this can I still get achievements?

Yes. Hardcore creative?
No clue. I haven't started over. With steam.
Or the game. With a new account.
But, as the achievements are account wide Anything new discovered should count.

I have a custom game, and I only need five more achievements :3 I think as long as you don't click the ones that SAY it disables Steam Achievements, you should be okay.

Should you set up a custom game, the description of each custom feature tells you whether it will affect achievements. If the script doesn't specifically note specific limits to achievements then there aren't any.

If you go into the custom settings screen and start unlocking things, you probably won't get any achievements in that game.

But just changing your landing spot or the intensity of the gameplay doesn't stop achievements. There's some rather challenging landing spots out there, and some that turn out to be sweeter than you'd think at first too, so, experiment away! :-D

I did not know there were any that said this. I havent looked because I only wanted to change this one setting but Ill experiment around.

Appreciate it, I was only looking at this one thing since I want to be as true to the difficulty as possible. Ill experiment around.
