Vehicle Bug

Anyone else have a problem when going to the screen to insert equipment into slots and cursor disappears? When exiting that menu I am then seated in the back seat of the vehicle for which I then cannot exit unless I quit the game. Means I can only use the vehicle with no perks and have to avoid going to the equipment screen as does it every time.

Never heard of any such thing, or experienced it either. Were you playing single-player or multiple? Do you have any mods installed? What kind of system are you using?

You might try to approach the vehicle from different angles , you might be overshooting and hitting the seat behind the menu?

As you approach the Rover, you should see different tags appear on screen depending on where on the vehicle you're looking, these tags are

'Drive' - Let's you drive the vehicle... obviously :D
'Use' - Will put you in the rear passenger seat you're looking at.
'Grab' - Let's you pick up the Rover into your inventory as long as the onboard blue chest is empty.
'Change Color' - Only appears if you have the beacon chip installed.
'Open Vehicle - Rover' - Let's you access the upgrades box on the side, or the blue chest on the rear, of the Rover.

There is something of a bug where the 'Use' tag will randomly pop up even if you're looking at some other part of the Rover instead of one of the passenger seats. If you happen to click on the rover while the 'Use' tag is on screen in that situation the game will still put you in a passenger seat, but you'll be stuck there until you exit and rejoin the game.

If you're looking directly at a passenger seat the bug generally doesn't happen.

To test this, try watching for the different tags that pop up as you walk around the rover, and particularly when you look at the upgrades box, the tag you need to see when looking at the upgrades box (and the blue chest on the back of the rover) is 'Open Vehicle - Rover'. If it says anything other than that DO NOT click.

Single Player with no mods and using windows.

Been trying from every angle and def not the seat. It opens up the right menu but cursor disappears to put equipment in slots. Only removed the older equipment to equip upgrades

Hi I'm clicking the correct spot as has equipment placed in before but only removed to put in vehicle upgrades. It opens up the correct menu only the cursor disappears so I can't equip them. I will try a different angle thanks although it does say open vehicle when I click. Only started doing it since wanting to put upgrades in so don't know if there is a link as been using the vehicle for a while now without a problem.

If your cursor is disappearing, the first thing you might want to try is verifying your games installed files via the Steam Library.

Beyond that maybe check if there's an update for your Graphics Card drivers.

Also, are you running the game on the latest development branch version (v1.407), or the latest regular version (v1.406) ?

Curious, maybe try moving the vehicle a few feet and try again ?
