Blue satellite icon underground

Coming back to this awesome game after a hiatus, waiting on more updates. I’m now seeing a blue satellite looking icon, adjacent to the meteor crater with the abandoned base, but it looks like it’s underground. Can’t figure out how to get to it. Anyone know what it is and how to get there?

it's near the waterfall & that black & white stuff in the valleys.

There are two entrances into an underground cave. I'm going to let you explore and find them because you will get a triumphant feeling when you do. They're not hard to find.

Awe My Gawd it took me forever to find the entrance to the mushroom river, good luck hahaha. One entrance isnt near the waterfall itself, its sorta more closer to the cove walk through where you go through to the asteroid field, is on waterfall side. Thats the one I found eventually. I should go see if I can find the one by the water fall. Following the blue icon wont help you because yes, its underground and it had me running around in circles is a little misleading/confusing. At first I thought they should really change that so the beacon is by the entrance to the underground chamber, then give you a new co-ordinate as the first lead to the first key but I understand why they dont, that would be a tad tooooo easy, I mean even I can find my way to my beacons easily. Pesky is right, once you do find it, you do feel rather triumphant....I did stumble into it the first time searching really quickly but it was night time and dark and I had no idea where I was and no sooner I found myself looking at a mushroom, I friggin died with no time to put down my own beacon and it took me forever to find it again! Enjoy!

That thing took me a while and a lot of running around. Eventually more or less stumbled upon the "waterfall" entrance. Stupid thing is so well hidden in plain sight
