3rd Person?
Hello everyone,

Just wondering if there is 3rd person mode and if so how to change to it?

No there isnt, you can see yourself in 3rd person if you do one of the emotes, but that's it.

Thanks for your reply, did not realize their were emotes, sucks no 3rd person and first person mode gives motion sickness sometimes, hopefully they add it in as a option in future.

You're very welcome.

As far as an actually playable 3rd person view being added goes, I guess it could happen in a future update, but I'll imagine it's probably not high up on the dev. teams list of things to do right now.

+1 for third person mode.

I prefer it but can play without...... I have friends though that will not play without it and I every time I try and convince tem to buy the game thats the deal breaker :(

Yeah I like games that have 3rd person as firs person can give me nausea feeling sometimes, found out 3rd person mode helps that, am surprised the game does not have 3rd person.

Get Motion sickness while playing most first-person games ... I would really love to have this option. :bluemush:

I'm one of those folks who can get a bit queasy playing some games in first person, but I've never had that issue with this game. It might be because we aren't moving around in a really fast, herky-jerky way in this game the way one might in a game with combat. Movement is pretty linear in TPC.

Don't know if this applies to everyone, but if someone is hesitant because of past issues, it might be worthwhile to download the demo and see how it goes. Also, I've found OTC Bonine "seasickness" pills helps with games that do cause the queasiness or dizziness, but that might be because it's fairly mild for me. Bonine doesn't make me drowsy the way Dramamine or Benadryl do.

As a side note on the whole 3rd person emote thing, as well as the numbered shortcut keys mentioned above, the various emotes can also be accessed via a row of 7 buttons under the in-game chat window.

I get motion sickness quiet fast so I can not play for longer then 30min. And even that isn´t a great experience. Bought the game some time ago before I knew I had motion sickness so here i am not really able to play the game. I would love to however. 3rd person mode would be awesome
