Trade Rocket Jipped Me

I'm almost done with terraformation on a custom game and wanted to work on my aesthetics before actually finishing. Sent a trade rocket up for the fountain blueprint, sent 20k terra tokens into orbit. It comes back later, tokens gone, no blueprint. Anyone else experience this?

You don't send the tokens up in the rocket.
You convert them to credits and use them at the console to pay for the fountain before sending up the rocket.

If you read the description of any terra token item, it'll tell you to right-click on the item to acquire the tokens, upon right-clicking on the item you'll hear a tone and see an on-screen message confirming how many tokens you just added to your balance.

You can then view your token balance either within your inventory screen (lower right corner below your equipment slots), or in the trade rocket screen (upper right corner.)

No. This was probably my 6-7th rocket either selling surplus rods or rockets beforehand.
i bought a couple other blueprints and they all came in. fountain however, did not.

Absolutely. I sold all the items i had to acquire the tokens i needed. the following rocket was sent to acquire the blueprint for the fountain. It came back with no blueprint after the trade, and took my tokens.

Just checked, No Fountain. I also dismantled the trade rocket platforms just to see if it glitched and possibly "fell" out the rocket... No blueprint on the ground either.

I know you've answered this but you did say in your OP,

So just to be clear, you didn't actually put the tokens in the rocket?

If you placed 20k worth of those in the rocket then they don't count towards your TT total until you use them. It is only the TT reported in your status screen that counts.

If you didn't get the TT added to your total then you really should report it as a bug by pressing F8 in game.

So just to be clear, you didn't actually put the tokens in the rocket?

I did not, they were in my balance on my equip screen. But when i sent the second rocket up by selecting the blueprint chip and launching. When the rocket came back and it was empty, I checked the balance on the launchpad screen, and my balance was still shy 20k, while my total tokens spent to date increased by 20k.

If you didn't get the TT added to your total then you really should report it as a bug by pressing F8 in game.

I reported the bug immediately after it happened then came on the forums to inquire if any other crafters had experienced this issue.

To be honest, most of the time when somebody posts about something like this, it's because they sent up the terra token items in the trade rocket rather than adding the tokens to their purse - hence why we all wanted to make sure whether you'd added your tokens to your purse or not :)

It doesn't mean other folks haven't experienced this issue in the same way you did though, we just don't seem to hear about it here on the discussion page that much if at all, but as long as you reported it via F8 in-game I'm sure the devs will look into it.

The good news is it's really easy to make tokens via the portal, so you'll have no problem making back what you lost and more very quickly.

Surely sounds like a rare bug. You can see though why we wondered with the way your post sounded. A rare one like that will be hard to fix I imagine. When you get TT to spare try it again and let us know how it went.

Oh i get it, I just simply misspoke. This was the first time this has ever happened to me in 8 different games. Wife usually plays with me and neither one of us had experienced it before.
