Launched out of the map on vehicle
My friend and I were using the vehicle to drive around and as we tried to get back in the vehicle, it launched us super high and outside of the planet and we can't get back in as we are hitting invisible walls and broken textures

You'll both have to exit the rover and then keep pressing F4 and use the direction keys to try and get above any invisible walls and/or move around the edge of the map until you reach a point where it'll let you cross the map border and get above some actual terrain.

At that point you can hopefully use your jetpack to safely return to the planets surface, and from there you should return to the Rover Station and use the screen there to try and teleport the rover back to you.

Yeah we tried for a while but it was tough and we almost ran out of oxygen so we ended up just storing valuables in the rover then dying. So this is a known issue?

It seems to be fairly uncommon, but I know it's been reported on here, and presumably via the in-game F8 reporting tool, by a bunch of players, and the report pretty much always seems to read about the same as your post did, i.e. one of you got in the rover to drive it, at about the same time one or more jumped on the back of the rover as a passenger, and the vehicle immediately yeets itself halfway around the planet.

I do wonder if the order people getting in/on the rover makes any kind of difference to the issue, like does driver and passengers all entering the vehicle at the same time cause the yeeting, or driver first and then the passengers after they wait a moment, or passengers first and then the driver, or is it just a purely random multiplayer/Unity Engine thing...

And vehicle location doesn't seem to make any difference, it's been reported as happening with the vehicle still parked on/near the Rover Station, it's also been reported from different locations just about all over both Prime and Humble.

Yeah, that seems to track, I think we were trying to get in the Rover at the same time. The Rover seems to like to do a little bounce anytime anyone got on and off, so it could be why.

In any case, thanks for the info!
