A Tool that would tell what mining in an area would give you.
Ore Extractors are very lovely tools when mining for those rare ores... however you do keep having to build one just to see the disappointing picture of iron ore in it when looking for em... This got me thinking, why couldn't there be a chip that would show us what ore extractor would give you where you stand in the world?
Would surely help find those pesky hiding aluminium and osmium that on the moon seem to have gone into hiding somewhere. Not to mention iridium that seems to have became most rare mineral in the world. Something that could find the minerals in the ground would be pretty good add in the main game, not sure if there is a mod for such and do not care. I don't intend to use any mods.

There is a rocket that already shows you what is where.

yes a rocket that does it... would likely need to spend eternity scavenging for the materials on the moon to get one into space.

Also the rocket in question does require a tier 5 microchip. not going to be very easy to get one.

yeah, starting on the moon is a pain... but there are no special ores to be mined on selena other than their local speciality anyway. so if you want osmiumor even aluminium - no luck

Well, there are some good stuff in crate.
Actually, i can't open or deconstruct them since recent update.I m currently stuck to begin the game on this moon.
I didn't explore all the selenea moon map.

But the crates may have all we may need.
It s not a joke as the seleanea is " a small moon for advanced player"

Without bugs, it can be possible for the best of us to start a new game here.

I don't play challenge mode because I play games to relax and have fun.

A don't like to come off as mean, but if you want a challenge mode why do you want it make easier. I don't know if it would work, but if you want a challenge mode start and want it make easier you could always go into custom and unlock everything and make it so it costs nothing to build.

You need a GPS satellite rocket, doesn't matter which one, this will give you access to the minimap. You'll then need either the map screen and/or the map upgrade chip to view the map. Finally you'll also need a T1 Map Info satellite rocket which will display on the map any specific mining locations that are on the world you're currently on.

The good news is, you only need to launch one of each of these rockets and they'll automatically work for every world.

On Selenea there are 3 Blazar Quartz ore extractor mining locations that overlap each other and are centered on the Blazar Quartz mine. There are also 3 Selenium ore extractor mining locations spread across the map. There are no specific ore extractor locations for any other ores.

There are TWO locations on Selenea containingapprox. 170 Aluminium between them.

One location is on the west side of the map behind the Blazar Quartz mine, while the other location runs from the east side of the map in to the landing site in the middle of the map.

There's also a small amount of Osmium (approx. 20) located in the same area as the western Aluminium field. Additionally, there's approx. 100 obsidian split in 2 groups at the eastern end of the eastern aluminium line.

Is there any other requirements for this? I was messing with it last night and my selenea map only shows squash and selenium on my map.

T3 extractor can mine sulfur everywhere (everywhere I've tried at least) and the devs last patch added it to the ground on a section of the map.
