Explosive Uses?

I've unlocked the explosives, found the computer chips, and have made explosives. But where to use them? I've found 2 places that require them, but I could have sworn when exploring that there were more

The round geode looking rocks. Use one explosive to get ore from them.
You might need some in the late game. No spoilers. ;)

On humble I remember I needed a couple when exploring inside a wreck.

I found four or five places so far to use them. Some are easy to find and others are not. Keep looking.

Ok, any suggestions on what area/region? The 2 I found were around/near the waterfalls. One was a cave and the other contained hundred to thousand of terra tokens and a biome thing.

I found a spot to use explosives, they are like a fire cracker that barely does anything. I was expecting a big kaboom and to clear away those round red rocks. I wasted 2, and it didn't make a dent. Maybe I need to place the stupid things right in the middle of the rock pile?

Yes, that is where I place them and have no problem.

Ive only played the DLC for about 2 hours and already found 3 different places with at least 10-15 rocks that say you can put explosives on them. Maybe you gotta get out more :)

I never had to make explosives. I found more than I needed.

I don't have the Planet Humble DLC yet. I'm trying to find places in the main game that need explosives. I could have sworn I saw more than 2 places. Maybe I should check around the zolite asteroid field or sand falls?

On Prime there's currentlyat least 10-11 (maybe more) different explodeable rock walls blocking access to various wrecks and hidden caves and tunnels - some of which rock walls need more than 1 explosive to make access through.

Theres a new building later on in the progression that allows you to go places where you can use the explosives. Their just like the ones you've found but more of them.

Yesterday I found at least 7 to 8 more places to clear with explosives. I'm finding that you kind of just need to keep exploring.

Thank you. Yes, slowly, as I continue to explore, I'm finding more and more places. Often times with massive rewards waiting!
