Missing Decorations [Humble]

In an earlier update we got the option to build Golden Chests, Safe Vaults, Spacesuit Lockers and the little single item crate.

Was in a wreck yesterday and it let me deconstruct a Safe Vault and gave me a blueprint. Back to base to find previously built Golden Crates and Spacesuit locker are gone and they are not on the Construction menu.

Has my game glitched (i.e. need a complete restart) or will I find a destructible Spacesuit Locker and Golden Crate and blueprints in the wrecks eventually?

Place the microchip in the display screen for BP and it will give you the plueprint to craft it, that is placed in your crafting inventory at the bottom alongside beds table pots etc

Hi Kate, I don't recall ever having the option to build golden crates or spacesuit lockers, but I'm not on the development channel - maybe you are and they were considered as options and then removed? The recent update did add things like safes and vaults and some furniture and such, if you're on the standard set-up, not sure. I think Juanitta must have misunderstood your question, guess she's having a good Christmas too - and yes, me too, thanks! (Always nice to have a little extra playtime )

I think I've figured this out. I had a mod installed when playing prime that added the option to build golden crates, safes and spacesuit lockers. My mistake was forgetting that and assuming the mod had been merged in by Miju

(pauses while everybody laughs at the silly woman)

Have now discovered the mod had broken causing the storages to disappear. Not a real problem in Humble bit in Prime . Looks like I've lost 100 genuinely obtained portal effigies. Attempts are being made to fix the mod but everything might be lost.

You can all start laughing again now.

Yes , mods will always get you sooner or later. Happy holidays and happy hunting, (for all those lost effigies) :)

The good news is that, unlike the other types of golden effigy, the number of portal effigies available to collect is apparently pretty much infinite, it'll just take some time, if you can bring yourself to even go there, to replace all those portal effigies that were lost.

You are welcome, Kate! Really annoying, isn't it, when we manage to prove to ourselves all over again (and again,,,) that we are too still human... I figure we have two choices, scream and tear our hair out, or laugh at ourselves, so I try to stick to the latter. As a bonus - it takes a LOT less work, lol! I don't know if it helps any, but - You Are Not Alone! =8-D

(I too have had some bad times with mods... some good times too, but there always seems to have to be a 'gotcha' somewhere! ;-P
