New moons update

I want to start a new playthrough, can i start on the moon and go to a planet, or does it only work planet to moon.

not until you can build the extraction platform as the transport rocket is built on the same as the extraction rocket

have not tried it but you seem to be able to start on one of the moons with a new game on the main menu, 3 options instead of 1/2(with humble).

The extraction platform together with the travel rocket allows for travel in any direction once you build it.
You can technically start on Selenea but it is somewhat like a challange mode.
The moon has no or very little aluminium, iridium, uranium, auper alloy, osmium, sulfur, zeolite and obsidian.
