Selenea has a lack of all T2 ores in special. I tried several times and failed. With ore randomizer on, it was possible to get aluminium on selenea on surface (in my case with iridium), but iron, cobalt were the exchange for the iridium and aluminium. The randomzer is random, so its not guaranteed to get aluminium on surface.
On Prime (Main Planet) there are a greyisch field where aluminium is, some can be found in the labyrinth (not much).
That's why the devs specifically warn us in the changelog notes for the update that starting on Selenea is basically 'Expert Mode' and thus is not a recommended starting point for everyone.
At first it wasn't so bad. I figured I was an expert by this point. Then the reality set in about the T2 ores hah. Its a fun challenge though.
That said, keep an eye out for the basic Rock Meteor Shower events as they sometimes drop aluminum along with the other basic ores.
I hope you brought stuff to build a rocket to get back to the Planets.
This new update allows you to start on Selenea, from where you'll have no access to Prime, Humble or the other moon, Aqualis, until you've fully terraformed Selenea.
the problem is i dont have cosmic quartz to make inter plant trade
