You can refill o2 anytime you want by stepping into your pod or a room you construct. If you're referring to making o2 canisters with cobalt, well... cobalt is obtainable, but indirectly. You need to actually read and apply some critical thinking skills.
Water is plentiful but you have to be smart, ice isn't laying around everywhere, you have to... uh... look for actual ice and you'll see chunks of ice near large deposits that are visible from a distance.
In this planet, have a new ore and new machine where u can put the ore and get cobalt and the basic minerals.
Just play, and advance ... i think doesn't need refund, because the prize for this planet is very low..
I like this DLC.
First the starting location is a lot less open and flat, so orientation is more difficult.
Second Ice is missing and Cobalt is a bit rng. I got unlucky with the ore crusher and didn't get much Cobalt in the first few chunks.
Which means at the time I had to use the first of two bottles of water I was still running around with the default oxygen tank which makes exploration very difficult. Even if you put down a habitat on the go.
Third, I did go toward the ice, but in the first frozen cave I checked I found no ice and then I had to run back quite a distance to drink my last water bottle.
Pretty sure if I do a run after exploring the area a bit getting water will be easier, but the start can be quite rough.
Edit: Found the right Ice cave. Was going into the wrong direction before.
You need to Know what you're doing, what you should be aiming for, and what your priorities are before attempting to play Humble.
The first-time novice player is not going to understand some of the hurdles and challenges Humble presents and/or some of the tradeoffs that it offers, and might even be entirely confused and not really understanding what all they have at their disposal and alternate ways to get things done.
I myself have done a good half-dozen playthroughs well past insects stage on Prime, and went into the DLC blind and found myself scratching my head and thinking about things some. I haven't died yet, but came close once, but I am now entirely self-sufficient with infinite water and food though I do owe some of that to a few lucky water bottle finds near the beginning of the game.
You dont need an ice "cave" from the starting landing pod, turn left and go till you see snow, its not that far, and ice is all over the ground... no cave needed....
Yep, I found it.
I just explored into the direction that the crash capsule opened because I saw some ice in the distance and thought to try that.
As stated the starting area is a lot less open so I didn't see the snow and I had some bad rng with the crusher leading to me being unable to upgrade the oxygen tank or even get any oxygen bottles. So I didn't explore much in other directions once I saw the other ice caves in the distance.
