Lirma Seeds
I have gotten to a point where I am out of Seed Lirma, but need them for rockets, are there any more? I think I have explored all ships and gotten all blue chests as far as I know. Any suggestions where there might be more of them, I only found about 10 of them total to begin with.

Unless there is a random number to start each game, there should be more, I have 15 left after using some in spreaders and rockets.
You can reclaim the ones in seed spreaders since they are low tier machines and you can get more bang for the buck using the lirma elsewhere.
Did you find all the underground habitats?
Go back into the bigger ships and search again. More seeds will spawn.

The content in the blue chests change over time. The longer you wait to open them, the better stuff they contain. I am not sure if the game thinks Lirma is better or not, but its possible that blue chests that you wait to open will have the Lirma changed to Tuska. Meaning you have to get to them early. Just a thought.

After 68 hours of playing I have over 100 of them. and a forest on 1/3 of the planet. Blue boxes and gold boxes appear after storms. Then you have to patrol the whole map again and visit caves

I don't think that's right. Blue boxes are always there. The storms just bring various minerals

Agreed, I have never seen a blue/gold chest respawn. Never have seen any of the Zeolite respawn either. I know some people say the Zeolite can come back. Never seen it happen.

Please be patient. Lirma seeds might be spawnable/craftable with later releases. Sort of like the bio/tree dome with tree bark or DNA Manipulator/clone type tech. Devs may add new ways lirma might pop up.

Thanks to all for the help. Still on the hunt tho, lol. Hopefully the new update will add more.

You should have long since reached the point where rockets are a diminishing return. I think I launched maybe 10 or 12 total before there just wasn't a point any more. Were you trying to rush? I hit insects in about 25 hours without more rockets.

We've asked for methods to create seeds but it's probably not on the top of the list of things to add in the discord.

I found around 50 of them in all the wrecks and secret bases. They were by far the most abundant. I only use them for rockets. I also found over 200 other plants to turn into trees. I face a completely different issue instead. I went through all the wecks prior to the liquid water stage and I only got 2 mushroom seeds in total, which severly limits my late game growth.

What do you need the bioplastic for?

Tons of tree spreaders for O2, biomass and pretty forests.

Once I got to T3 I stopped with the T1s. T3 don't need bioplastic, and since there are a limited number of tree seeds in the game, I thought it was more important to put my efforts into the upgraded versions. Bigger trees, too!

You can duplicate Lirma with this trick if you need it. This also works with other blueprints. The fewer resources needed to build the more likely you'll get them all back.

!. Save the game.

(Tip) It helps to enter and leave your nearest shelter. (When you respawn the game puts you in your last visited shelter.)

2. Take only the resources needed to build the Grass Spreader T1.

(Tip) Leave your O2 tank behind you wont need to breathe.

3. Select the Grass Spreader T1 blueprint and get ready to place it on the ground where intended, but don't place it yet. Call it "in hand".

4. Remember don't place it, and let yourself die.

(Tip) Don't touch anything! You can however climb ladders.

5. When you respawn the Grass Spreader will still be "in hand". Don't open any menus or boxes! Just build the Grass Spreader.

6. Then go find your death box. Hopefully you recovered all or more importantly the Lirma Seed, and still managed to build the Grass Spreader.

(Tip) If you don't recover the desired resources. Load your last save, and try again.

7. Now dismantle the Grass Spreader, and you've duplicated those resources. Again more importantly hopefully the Lirma Seed.

8. Save again! always save after a successful duplicate.

This worked for me and i'm swimming in Lirma and Super Alloy ;)

Perhaps we'll get a late-game use for bioplastic. Say, patching up the living modules so they don't leak when it rains.
