i cant find the pedestrial to put the mechanism so i can open that door

You have to have the special microchip you have to make, don't you? Before those pedestals show up? I may have it out of order but I think you have to go somewhere else, unlock a thing, build the thing and then you can see the pedestals?

Its directly in front of the door. Maybe you need to have a warden key to view it. Or maybe you need to open the first door in the mushroom cave first.

No, that's later on when you need to collect keys from throughout the world.

There's a second point of interest in that biome that you need to visit. Should be coordinates written on the pedestal where you got the key.

you have the key from mushroom river. you have the gps for alloy cave (otherwise you wouldn't be there). you don't need anything else. only remaining possibility is that the you missed the pedestal - it's still there. the alloy cave (even though it's not very big) can turn you around and I know I've walked past it more than once even when I know where it is. No other answer (door is more a huge moving wall once the key is on the pedestal)

Just checking, did you open the door in the mushroom cave after you got the key off of the pillar in the mushroom cave?

I was wondering how close you are to the beginning of the game. The key "rises" out of the sand in that cave. Is it possible you are there too early? If so, you may see a tiny "smoke" of pixel sparkles about in the middle of the area in front of the big door. That's where the place to put the key Should be.

Golly gee. Go into the alloy cave, turn right as soon as you can. follow the right side wall (it will force you more central but STAY NEXT TO THE RIGHT WALL: you will shortly be staring at the pedestal for the second location - all the other stuff about whatever will simply waste your time.
