rover got deleted

so i was in a portal wreck that i brought my rover into, i left it in there and left the wreck to deposit items and closed the portal without thinking, i realized my car was in there and went over to the rover depot to retrieve it but it didn't show up as an option, i opened a new portal to see if that would help but it still didn't show up, it was fully upgraded so this was a setback.

I tried that on purpose yesterday. I tried to drive it back thru the portal. I came back but it vanished. I did go back to look for it but it was just gone. Luckily I left the portal open and recalled the rover to the garage. Early on I placed a bunch of signs inside one of the portals. I'm still finding them once in a while , maybe you'll get lucky and your rover will be hanging around somewhere but it doesn't seem likely. Live and learn I guess.

Same happened to me and a friend last night, he fell through the map and the rover de spawned with all the valuable loot

if you close wreckage gate before summoning rover back its gone gone as that tile is deleted . stinks but happens
