Fabric and game satisfaction in Humble

I appreciate that Humble has differences that rather drastically change the gameplay but when it comes to fabric (and trading, honestly) it's just become tedious. I've found 3 pieces of fabric at GTi 164, the only bugs I've found are a butterfly larva and a single rare bug. I need fabric to upgrade inventory on my truck. I can't find it, I can't make it. I'm rapidly approaching the part of the game where I just use transporters to get around which means the utility of the truck will peak after I no longer need it.

And then I find a ruined bed in the wild. Next to it are two pieces of fabric. I can't deconstruct the bed and I can't pick up the fabric (they're not items). I shut down the game for the day.

when you get access to them collect grubs and make silkworms out of them + auto fabricator = fabric
i will dedicate my production of it for trade because its one heck of a money maker
