They added an extra step for some minerals and a rover,... apart from that, same same.
You can no longer mine certain elements. As above Tech Enthusiast states, there is an extra step and three new minerals, which when crushed will give you what you need.
You could in vanilla access the whole map if you new what you were doing, not possible on Humble. Large ice sheets cover it and need to be melted before you can.
This means new areas opening up as you go along.
General progression is the same. I've just got trade rockets but it seems what I can trade value wise is quite low, so what I traded before is not really of use now.
Worth doing the Original first and then the DLC so you can see for yourself. I generally like the terrain on Humble more than the vanilla.
Humble does however have much more extreme map changing terraforming. Like... way beyond just melting ice.
That is the best part about the DLC really. That, and the Rover... which is amazing for exploration... just sucks that the map is so much smaller and you can't really use the rover for more.
Hoping for a big DLC with a HUGE map next. Like, take what they learned along the way and put it up to 11.
