Humble DLC does initial area flood like first map?

Just wondering before I build my main base here... I didn't like how I had to move whole base before it flooded on first map

The pod does not flood. There are some puddles in that area. There is flooding elsewhere. In the areas right near that first one look for lower elevations and stay away from those. Beyond that you can experience major terrain change. So if you stick closer and avoid those dips and areas of lower elevations you should be fine.

BEtter to just build the base on the first hill. Doing so will put you closer to other things. When I first saw the puddle forming near the pod, I moved everything to the top of that first hill. Its pretty big up there. Got therocket platform and the rover pad up there as well and still have toom to expand. I have built upwards, though, with the habitat cubes. Even have the big domes attached as well.

there will be a river going around the advanced abandoned base coming from the ice area and going toward the sand pit area behind the base. besides that, only puddles will form in that area.
