Humble obsidian?

I know i can find it, i think i have picked up every single possible piece. I have tried to make a extractor around where people say it should be possible, but nothing. No option to select obsidian on the extractor anywhere, been trying for a while.

Try directly south of the saboteur ship, the one that requires t2 deconstruction to enter, just across the water.

You need T2 extractor on North East location between Lava and big ship. You have to go cross sulfur fields from start point.

It has to be a T2? A T3 wont work? Im already swimming in resources from the crushers i don't need any more.

Have you not got the map chip that shows you where resources are on the map? That should help you locate so you know where to put ore extractors?

The question isn't "where", it's "how".

Edit: Figured it out, got help from reddit with coordinates. It works out at the tip with the cosmic quartz. But it doesn't seem to work anywhere else, like closer to the map marker.

Help, I cannot find it either. I am sitting right now between the lava and ship and there is NOTHING here! Just a big sloped rock and a patch of grass and a small pond. No obsidian anywhere! do they only appear when your at a certain stage? I am at Oxygen level 36 GTi

deploy a drill and you get lots of obsidian (T3 gives you the option to drill for one specific ressource)

Yes There is nothing obvious to say hey this is where you get Obsidian, other than the map and then you can see where all the ore is to mine them. Like I expected to at least see some laying around that indicated its here. But yes, just placing the extractor its up it comes. I havent got T3 extractors yet so lucky T2 does it since Im now needing it to make things. It shouldnt be too far from getting T3, Im almost at 150 GTi. Thank you <3

you don't see the giant obsidian rock?, that would have been a big hint

There is no obsidian rock on humble like on first planet, unless you mean the 3 ones on the other side of the valley next to the ship, but you cant mine it there.

I've not had any trouble placing a mine for obsidian, pretty much any grassy ground near the lava area will give you obsidian as an option, I've checked several areas, ended up keeping the one just below the cliff where the sulphur area ends and the lava cave begins (since its closest to my base).
