Dude, Where's My Ore Extractor?

Suggestions on how to find a "missing" ore extractor?

Got more than a few hours on this map and a long respite since I started. Now I'm missing an ore extractor - that is, I've got a steady supply of Cobalt but, like the mule with a spinning wheel, I have no idea how or rather, from where I'm getting it.

Short of bringing my drone army to a screeching halt to isolate the source of Cobalt, anyone have suggestions how to locate the extractor that's bringing in this particular good?

Have you launched the rocket to see things on the map and then looked at it to see if there was a dot of a building somewhere? Won't work if it's underground, but if it isn't you might be able to see it that way. I once lost a tree spreader. Took forever to find it.

You can use online map https://map.fistshake.net/PlanetCrafter/. Just drop your savefile *.json on this map and it shows you all the demanding and supplying points and drone traces. But it can be slow if you have too many of these.

Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't see it on the GPS map.
