DLC ... it sucks
Hello,

please let me know what stuff the DLC adds.

From my point of view, it adds a crusher / grinder to the base game.

What else does the DLC add? A smaller more boring map?

Please help me out.

Imho more interesting map with serious terraforming landscape changes.
But yes - it adds map.

What items... such as

Biomes, Base Building, Tools.... does it add´?

It is basically a small patch for the base game,

?
It's listed on a DLC page

You don't like it - no one is forcing you to buy it - have a nice day,

Its a cheap dlc - but you get a lot of play hours. We are currently at 14 hours and still not at the end.

Yeah the major part is the new map - new stuff to explore. What can you ask else for?

I'm not going to say it sucks. I haven't played it very much yet. But so far I am extremely disappointed.

I agree.
At the risk of small spoilers I will say - I really like that the new map unfolds as you progress - its quite extensive once it starts to melt the ice. It also has some new buildings to build the bases around which are cool. Very nice exploring the huge new caverns and all the beaches. The lore is also interesting and a bit funny in parts.

All in all very happy with the DLC for the very small price. So far, almost 40 in game hours played with no regrets about the amount / or lack of content -- all for the price of a large coffee....

I am really looking forward to more updates and maybe even more DLC to come.

I don't understand whats not to like..??

I really love it. I had stopped playing TPC but this new DLC has really revived it for me.

Personally, I think you have either no patience, or no imagination if you really think this game sucks. I'm of the opinion that it's pretty durned awesome, myself. I have been loving it so far, it began as much more of a challenge to get started and not die than the original, but it's recently been made slightly easier, however there's still lots of challenges, and hours worth of playtime for a mere pittance (these days especially).

The map may actually be smaller - but it is MUCH more complex and it doesn't FEEL smaller at all, in fact it feels AT LEAST as big if not bigger. If you laid it all out flat without all the over-and-under it probably would be, is my guess.

Honestly, you don't really need any help, you just need to figure out if your cup is half empty or half full; the answer depends on what you are focusing on, so remember that what you pay attention to, is what you will get out of anything in the long run. :steamhappy:

A new planet to explore! Where you don't already know where everything is, or the best way to proceed. It contains several surprises, as an unexplored planet should. All these things make the DLC much more interesting than replaying the original.

I thought the map was small too up until a certain terraformation index...

The map reaches a point where some really lovely stuff happens and I'm glad the DLC exists because I got to experience it. So, the DLC has beauty, basically.

I am enjoying the DLC alot, I will gladly take a new planet DLC that changes a few things, adds a few things and give me a reason to terraform and entire new planet. Whats not to like... gets boring starting the same first map over and over, esp since you know where everything is... a new planet, you have to explore to find resources, and this one, i found the start was alot harder, you had to mange resources a little more in the beginning.... i like it, hope they add map DLCs like this in the future as well....

i really liked the DLC map in mid/late game. but early game it felt too much like a video game level rather than a world.

I made the mistake of using Random with the dlc, now the grand total of osmium that has spawned is 1, and it was in a sunken storage. Even the buried trade ship you need explosives to dig out had 0. Cracking geodes has unveiled uranium, cobalt, and sulfur. It's just insane, and I've been exploring so much I've found gaps in the colliders. Really fun to drop like a rock.
