Humble Tips (Spoilers?): Ores

Heya!!

This may be a spoiler so consider before reading.
Ore Extractors are Old School:
In the early to mid game don't waste your time with extractors. Crushers are the way to go. Get two T1 going and a lot of your ore needs will be met.
In the mid game Uranite is King!!
A couple crushers, and an T2 extractor or two where you find all the uranite and you will never run out of uranium, iridium, aluminum or super alloy.
There is No location to extract uranium or iridium. It all comes from uranite.
not sure why with that huge iridium location on the map. Seems a waste.

Just started playing the new DLC & like the crushers. They really help to make the game not feel like you have to grind so hard for the basic ores. Plus a fun new way to get stuff so it is a bit different from the original world. Only about 4 hours in but so far having fun.

Uranite (uranium, iridium, super alloy) / obsidian: location around the small spaceship
Osmium: Ice cave close to the starting area
Zeolith: Down in the underground (part with osmium crystals, close to the surface)
What i still did not found is a spot for pulsar quarz: There is a cave with some crystals, but you can not put an extractor.

If you want to have unlimited aluminum, put a single extractor in the area where bauxite is found, since bauxite is the only way to obtain aluminum that isn't just finding it. Or you can go blow open geodes in the red canyon area.

the problem with bauxite is that its also has a tom of iron and silicon in it (that i personally discard into a volcano because its clogging up the aluminium production)

Is there a way to boost production? I've tried the production fuse and nothing...I've resolved on having about a dozen or more crushers working

I shred iron, silicon, w.h.y. all the time, the game will tend to store those 'dumps' in its memory when you save, after awhile it can really add up and slow everything down (depending on your 'puter's stats of course, the limits vary, but there is always a limit...)
