DLC Planet Humble will not install.

I just purchased the DLC Planet Humble and it says it was released October 9th yet i can't seem to download and install it. Has anyone had this issue?

I also launched the game and I don't see an option to play Planet Humble DLC or chose another planet, did I miss something here?

When you start a new game, you have a planet drop-down. It's set to 'Prime' but the dropdown option is Humble. You select the planet there.

No you don't that's what i'm trying to tell you. It shows I purchased the DLC, i click on it and it opens another window showing I purchased it today on the 23rd and there is no option to download it now. It doesn't appear in my download area either which is really strange.

How do i get my purchase to download and install?
When i'm in the library on the Plant Crafters page there is a pink bar across the page stating: "New DLC for planter crafter has been addded to your account and will be added along with the game"

I already have the game so why is it doing this? I have purchased the game prior to adding the DLC yet it won't install the DLC and is telling me it will be added when i purchase the game.

Go to the library page for the base game, on the far right click the little cog icon and click properties then click DLC and tick the checkbox that says install

OK i went there and the purchase is there and the box to the left of the purchase already had a green check mark yet it doesn't install and the pink bar is still on the library page stating "New DLC for planter crafter has been addded to your account and will be added along with the game"

And the DLC doesn't appear in the download area.

I have never had this happen before in the 10 years plus I have been on steam, this is so stupid!

The only thing I can tell you is to check if the purchase was actually invoiced to you. Because the only time I saw your problem the player had a bug on his credit card that had not charged for the game. And if the DLC is not considered normal buy that you don't have access to it

No i have invoice and it's in the dlc area of the game in the library and I had money in my wallet which has been used to purchase the game. I guess it's broken and i will have to get a refund because it's not installing.

Please refund my money this DLC is broken and will not install even though i paid and can see it in my DLC area on the steam library for planet crafter. it should have installed when purchase was complete, DLC doesn't appear in download area either.

The DLC is normally already installed if I say no nonsense. Access is just blocked until it is paid

Normally, you have to create a new game and select the Humble planet

That is strange indeed, maybe uninstall and reinstall the game (back up your saves first) restart steam etc, the usual. Refund if that doesn't work and maybe try rebuying, I don't think anyone else has reported this issue.

Not going to uninstall to much work over a year playing my save to chance it. It would be just my luck that my game would be wiped and then i would be very unhappy. I have it it's there sitting in the DLC folder waiting for me to purchase the game is what it is saying. I have no idea but i am getting my money back because i don't see signs that any Developers is going to show up on steam and help. Thanks for trying to help all.

I did that first thing prior to realizing it never installed and then realized it didn't actually install. I'm done with this getting a refund.

You won't lose your save if you uninstall the game
