No. You get colored quartz a very different way

Called Cosmic Quartz in DLC PLanet Humble and you place the Quartz into the Crusher,

yeah i got all those, i have just not done the achievement for the rainbow caves so i will have to go on the main game then to do that one

UKSharon run through all the caves on planet Crafter
I can share that head up past the Falling Sands up from our Landing keep going till you come to some rivers on the right follow that up and you will come to cave head up around this area to see where the caves lead.
I used the jet pack to fly up.
Cant find the photo with Marker but this what I used
