Craft From Storage

Hi, I haven't played the game that much yet, but I really do like it. One thing though, I'm not sure if it is possible to craft from storage at some point, but I feel like this should be a feature. I'm always baffled when games like this don't have this option.

you do unlock an autocrafter at some point which crafts from nearby storage

I know not everyone wants to use them, but if you check out the stickied thread about modding, there's one that does exactly what you're looking for.

Autocrafters do exactly that and become increasingly important towards the late game. Their range isn't too large, but you can have crafters on one floor and storage on a different floor and that'll compress the space.
