Production Multiplier Fuse
Does it work on Farms? because I'm a little shorthanded on Eggplant and Mushrooms atm, and if this gets them growing faster, I'd be all for it

For outdoor farms you need the Plant multiplier fuse, and yes they work.

Do they actually make the plants grow faster or do they just increase the farms terraforming value?

Works just like the Production Multiplier Fuse and mining. Each new Plant Multiplier fuse decreases the growing time.

My usual setup for the outdoor farms is a 3x3 square, farms on the outside and 4 T2 Machine Optimizers with 3 Plant Multiplier Fuses each, in the centre of that 3x3.

Hey Jacob, the wiki says that plant multipliers only work on the terraforming value but don't affect growth rate. Have you actually tested with and without to see if thats correct ?

Sorry, the wiki is correct. I was convinced I had seen a reduction in the growth time in the past, but I can't reproduce it anymore.

Yeah, I was hoping you had found a workaround for the farms. I've been trying to trade cookies but if you do the math on them its a huge undertaking unless you make lots of farms and that's just to feed one trade rocket. Sometimes folks will find ways to do things that aren't supposed to be possible. Was just hoping for a miracle.

Sorry, no miracle.

For me, cookies are to complex and to slow to create for trading.

The moment I can construct ecosystems, I start trading Fabric as a secondary trade article.. Much easier and production can be sped up with machine optimizers.

Near the end of the game, I usualy have 2 or 3 traderockets with fusion cells and 3 or 4 rockets with fabric. As soon as I have the blueprints, i want to have at that moment, I trade full for production fuses, speeding up the production proces for both trade articles.

It takes a lot of drones, but it is a nice view if you open the map and see all those 1000+ drones swaming across the map.

Yes. I mostly do bacteria,food, and fabric. I throw in at least one of each of everything else since I have 35 trade rockets at the bottom of the lake. I just did the math on the cookies and it seemed like a worthy challenge to kill time with till the next update. I only use 260 drones at the moment. Had a thousand once but my fps is low enough as it is. Takes them a while but there's no hurry. They get it done eventually.
