If there is not enough power for the T3-extractor, everything will work, but the special ores are not shown.
Probably the simplest way to make sure you put your extractor in the right location. Once you have this and the T3 extractor you're basically set for resources until end of game.
have satelites, the only one i havent launched yet is the POI rocket, since i wanted to explore myself.
the T2 ex. works fine pulling osmium up in a cave, how ever as said the aluminum forest havent produced a single aluminium, zip, none, nada.
the only thing it has produced lots of is sulfur.
Power clear, but I'm a bit confused now.
In your original post you mentioned T3 ex (hence my reference for the power, and the assumption you had already deployed T1/T2 extractors for aluminium and super alloy).
In this reply you are mentioning T2 ex.
Aluminium can already be extrated with a T1 ex. Have you ever deployed a T1 ex succesfully for aluminium? I suppose not. A tip.
After placing an extractor, check the icon below the inventory of the extrator, it will tell you what ore/miniral is prefered at the location. This way you don't have to wait for production.
If it doesn't show the icon for the ore/mineral you want to extract, you clearly are not at the right location.
Also keep in mind, the boundaries of a deposit are not that clear. Turning the extractor, can be enough to hit or miss, if placed near a boundary. Make sure you are well inside the area.
If you want to keep exploring, a screenshot of the location you try to extract aluminium would indeed be helpfull.
Or start using the POI-rocket.
Personally dont know of any, and in that case an extractor yielding sulfur cant be in the right spot for aluminum
You are correct for the T1 and T2 extractor. However the T3 extractor ...
If you alter the game settings and select "Randomize Ores", the extractors seem to bugged.
Well, that's a hundred hours of my life I'll never get back thanks to missing that little nugget :D
I do hope I can't mine Pulsar somehow :D
