Construction Count lets you see how many of each thing you've built but only on mouse over (I'd prefer to just see (8) on the item in the construction menu).
The hotbar is a nice option too - being able to add items there so you can just slap 1 and slam down a living compartment and also see what each one currently is, is a great upgrade chip to build.
Recyclers into containers would a great Tier 2 recycler as well.
But that's not "mod support". Though maybe that's just my minority definition of "mod support". Games like Factorio have mod support, in the sense that they directly, built into the game, support loading and running mods and have an API that mods can use.
Checking… ah yes, it's the Unity/Bepinex system. With all the annoyances that brings.
I hate the Steam Workshop. Mod support can be so much better.
