Production multiplier fuses are not extremely great, are they?
I have 5, but...
it seems possible to send 2 of them in the trade rocket and get the t2 large locker
is this a decent trade?

They are good to use when you need a lot of materials from miners, you just need to stack them

Fuses trade in for 100% value, trade them any way you please.

Production fuses make a machine go 25% faster and they add up. It's kinda mid but I found them useful for larva production. For the most part, you are better off using any other fuse such as the power booster to build more things.

Oh, the power booster, the energy production fuse. Yes, I need them yet there is a buildable machine that wants BOTH of them. I only have the two and have been exploring all over. I sold a heat fuse and a pressure fuse for 5000 dinars and got the t2 locker. Holds a LOT.

I have production multipliers on my Alloy miners, I can off-planet the rods for a few hours before the alloy runs out. More are planned.

Production fuses have allowed me to craft 75 pulsar quartz and 25 fusion every ~12 minutes non stop, hands off. Drones are finished restocking and parked 3+ minutes before the rocket returns.

The best one I believe is the power fuse. Stack 3 of them and you no longer have any need to build power stations again. Well, once you get a few of the final power supplies going

Agreed - I usually ditch the first couple I get, buy Tier 2 lockers which are an enormous benefit, Tier 2 drones which are a small but useful benefit and anyway you don't want to build any more Tier 1 drones than you have to because recalling them and recycling them is a PITA, and energy fuses so you can stop building uranium reactors.

On Prime, you just take a trip to the Pulsar cave, and come back with enough to get your first fusion reactors and your teleporters network going. You don't have that location on Humble so every time I've ended up with massive loads of uranium reactors which are pretty pathetic.

You can rebuy Production fuses later and I've never really found myself in a situation where the Production fuses were more useful than the other things.

I use them on ore extractors, and water collectors. But they don't affect ore crushers which is possibly an oversight.

They're increasing optimiser range IIRC so that's helpful.

There are 2 Pulsar Quartz caves on Humble. But only 7 & 12 crystals there.

Thank You for this

It hadn't occurred to me to set up Pulsar / Fusion Energy Cell production.
