If you can eat it, they will eat it. If you can farm it, they will eat it.
Beans have the highest nutritional value of the raw foods. So start a lot of bean farms.
I would like to see a happiness rating for critters. And to name them.
I have flower spreaders and grass spreaders around the shelters and feeders. It likely does nothing for them, but I feel better seeing them stroll through fields of taller grass and flowers.
They grow no matter what you feed them. Feed them beans and they won't starve.
The wiki for the critters didn't help me at all. I can't help with the algebra. I've been documenting my efforts regarding the critters in a different thread. But it is more about their wandering than the genetics and what causes what.
