No, you need to have a higher Tier miner. The T1 only does some things but not the higher level ores. When you have the right Tier drill, your item will show up at the end of the line of ores to mine.

ok, so my tier 1 miner can only mine iridium and alu, but no uranium, obsmium or super alu. i need the tier 2 miner to mine in these caves?

thx. launched some rockets for pressure bonus to speed up getting T2 miners

T1 will also mine aluminum, if placed in the aluminum field...

If it did, it doesn't show up in my browser, not sure where you saw that, went over em all and still don't see it... there is one reference to 'super alu' - I'm pretty sure meaning, super alloy...

Super Alloy you have to manufacture (large advanced crafting station) yourself or use the automated machine to manufacture it. I have 4 T1 drills at the aluminium field and an Automated machine there plus drones to transport the Super Alloy to my base, but still have to go there once in a while to clear the boxes because not all minerals are used up in the process. Am swimming now in Aluminium though.
You can also pick Super Alloy up when the small asteroid shower comes down, have enough food to counter any hits on you by them. They will disappear very quickly after the storm is over.
Also bought the pressure fuses for to get the T3 drill, which was a major disappointment because at this point you can only set it to the 5 main minerals and sulphur. Do not know if other items/crystals get added later to the list.
For Uranium, Zeolite, Osmium and Obsidian you have to use the T2 drill, I ended up using one as well for the Iridium due to larger storage capacity.
Make a point to ALWAYS pick up the 10 Pulsar Crystals from the asteroid, you will need lots of them. Unfortunately if you quit the game after this asteroid has fallen, forgot to pick them up and later re-load, they will have disappeared.

T2 miners can mine Super alloy in the "super alloy cave" near the desert, I have several T3s in it atm mining it, Pulsar on the other hand does need to be found or crafted, though Zeolite also has a cave to mine it.

T3 miners are already mining all the minerals (so also zeolite, uranium and osmium). Crystals can not be mined!
Simply replace your T2 miner for a T3 miner, and make sure you have enough power.
Wthout enough power, the extra options of the T3 miner will be left out.

Invest in energy fuses and increase your power supply in this way.

I must have totally missed that one, found all the quartz including solar.
Would please share the coordinates?
Thank you in advance. Normally I try to find everything myself but this really bugs me, for I checked all terrain.

I have over 3000 kw available after placing 5 T3's, still only showing what I mentioned above. Maybe it will update at a later point once frogs are avalaible??????

You need to send up the map point of interest rocket so you can see high-tier minerals' locations for extraction on the map.

LOL i did not check the map for a long time since I sent up that rocket and also because of having put down markers for locations.
Yes, I found it and unlocked a kind of message as well.
Thank you all!!!!!
