Animal rocket

I sent one up but I'm not getting any animals showing up. What exactly does this rocket do? Thanks

Rockets give a permanent 1000% boost to whatever the rocket is. If your mid to late game, one rocket is hard to notice a difference. What kind of animals are you looking for? Fish, Insects, Frogs will all generate around the planet on their own. Mammals do not.

I already have the butterflies and frogs, I'm trying to get to the mammals stage, but it's so slow

Ya, that mid to late game grind. You gotta launch like ay least 10 to notice anything. One just scratches the surface at that point.
