I have to admit that the Wiki, on most games, is not very good, but looking at it for Planet Crafter, it seams to be better than most.
https://planet-crafter.fandom.com/wiki/Blueprints#Blueprint_Microchip_Blueprints
As mentioned, the fireplace comes from a special chip you get from portal ships. The special chips have the same icon, but the tooltip will tell you what blueprint it gives, whereas the ordinary ones just have a generic description.
There is still only one blueprint for a cube?? You don't make any sense... If you could please post a pic where you can make more than one cube...
Keep the extra blueprint chips as more recipes may be added to the game in the future updates. New recipes have been added in the past in game updates.
The single player game feels finished to me, so I do not know what will happen in the future.
There's 4 chips you can get from the portal wrecks (tree pot, fireplace, light box and solar quartz). Tree pot is missing in the chips for some reason, but mentioned in Furniture:

Yes, that may be true. But the OP was saying there were to different Cube Lights. At least I was trying to help the person.
I think they got confused :)
