Will T3 extractor mine Pulsar quartz?

If so, where to put it? I tried placing a T3 ore extractor in the pulsar rainbow mine area and it doesn't show up on the menu.

There is a round-about-way pulsar quartz can be mined/crafted to infinity. That is you setup ore extractors to collect all the required ores, and you also need a setup up for any additional crafted components needed. Have drones transport that stuff to your base. Have a auto-crafter set to craft pulsar quartz.

The only method I found for reliably getting the other quartz types is through the portal wreck looting. I have a huge container filled with the stuff after doing many-many runs through the portal. Sadly, there is no value for those on trading.

Yeah, what MossRock suggests above is the way to do it. You eventually unlock Pulsar Quartz crafting. It takes a Zeolite, Osmium, Iridium, Uranium, and a Methane. Build storage for each of those. Have drones deliver to those lockers. Build an auto crafter. Set the auto crafter to make Pulsar Quartz. Be sure to set a locker to receive it too.

You also will eventually be able to make Solar Quartz also, but that is late game.

Wrecks contain unique blueprint chips you can't obtain any other way. One of them is for Solar Quartz.

Solar Quartz is pretty useless, though. As far as I know, you can only use it to craft lightboxes.

Yes, I forgot about getting the chip for Solar Quartz. The main use of the quartz is opening portals. You usually bring back more than it takes, so you end up with a lot of it.
