T2 Recycling Machine needed

T2 will have an input and and output box, with auto mode when input is full. if the output bin is unable to hold the cycled mats then it will stop until room is made.

i would like to make ore bars at the mine sites and only ship bars back to my factory. at the factory if i need ore i could then auto recycle them back into ore for use. shipping bars instead of ore saves 8 drones per trip.

The entire recycle machine needs a rework...I'm not sure why it went into 1.0 in it's current state (granted, I guess it's not that high priority of an issue). Should behave like every other machine and just have input/output slots, rather than randomly dumping junk on the ground lol

yep, seems like a punt. i only use it to recycle bars if needed atm. i store bars to save space and recycle a few dumping the ore on the floor near the auto-crafter...

Agreed. It would be nice to have a way to recycle dozens of T1 Drones at a time. One at a time is ridiculous.

I mean, you can already do 90% of what you're talking about?

Build X number of T3 mining rigs in e.g. the Iridium cave.
Build an autocrafter nearby, set to create Iridium bars.
Set the autocrafter to Supply bars.
Set a locker in your base/factory to Demand bars.
Drones will only carry the bars from the Mining Autocrafter to your locker, not the ore.

If you're wanting to do the same thing with Super Alloy then you just set up a locker near the Autocrafter that demands Aluminium (and obviously have Aluminium mines set up as supplies).

The only thing you can't do at the moment is auto-recycle, because you need to manually push the red button.

(I agree that the Recycler would be much better if it worked as every other machine, I don't like picking up crap from the floor either)

I just trashed all my T1 drones TBH, by that point the engines and circuits aren't really much of a concern and manually recycling them is more effort than it's worth. Really, the T2 recipe should require T1 drones as an input and just be a straight upgrade using some additional materials.
