to many acces cards??

Used the portal to go to a wreck. Found 4 acces card but used only one. Been running around the ship til I knew the content of every blue chest i came up with, by heart. But no more closed doors.
Am I dumb, or do the cards belong to another wreck on that planet? Not that i have found more b.t.w.
Any one knows an answer or en light hint?

No, you're doing it right. The developers are trying to make sure you have enough cards when you reach the vault, no matter what route you took to get there. So they put enough cards along any reasonable path.

It does mean you can take three cards with you every time you open a portal. That'll be enough for one wreck, and you can collect enough as you go through that one in case there's more than one wreck through that portal.

You can recycle the spare cards for 2 circuit boards each

I always go into a wreck with 4 cards. I have a locker of them. Just in case I don't find enough. Thanks for info on recycling them. Didn't think about that.

Its possible that they intend to put all Vaults behind locked doors
and then you'll need to collect multiple keys.
