Copy-Paste Light Colors?

Is there a way to copy-paste lights colors? Setting up alternating outdoor lamps and area lamps on the perimeter of my base. I didn't like the default color for either, but it's a pain to manually change the color for each light, and also to deconstruct-reconstruct in the correct orientation for the light color also.

from what I can tell, a new light cube/lamp will use the color of the last one seen in the editor choice.

So if you come to an area with one lamp that you want to copy that color; open up existing lamp into color editor, DON'T CHANGE THE COLOR, merely open it, then when you make a new one it'll be that color.
