Help - lost a Warden's Key, now what?
I had collected all the Warden's Keys and put most of them in the places they needed to be to open doors, etc. I had collected a few until I knew where to put them, and now I can't find one that I stashed . I've been thru every base complex and storage container, and original key location - but can't find one that i need for the three key stack. Any ideas on how to work around or solution this dumb goof I made?

You use Warden Keys again later in the game, and you can collect more than you need, so you will have some spares. It's end-game, though, so you will be waiting a while

Make sure you actually collected all three keys from the previous area. In the first place (mushroom river) you get 1 key and spend it to open the door. You get another 1 key inside. In the second area (super alloy cave) you spend 1 key to open a door and get 2 keys inside. In the next area you spend 2 keys to open a door and get three key. In the last area you spend 3 keys to open the door. Maybe you didn't collect all three keys from the 3rd area and one is still there. You said that you've been through the original key location but you didn't confirm that you found all three stands there all without keys.

Other than that at the end you will be able to collect 13 keys and will need 10 for the ending so you will have 3 spares if you find them all.

The lists I've seen (like this one https://gamerant.com/the-planet-crafter-warden-key-locations/#the-mushroom-river-ruin-warden-keys) all list ten locations in the world . In that case, you'd spend one to open the first door. After that, each location has enough to open the next door (one in the Mushroom biome to open the Super Alloy door, three in the Lost City to open the Paradise biome door, and 5 in Lost Paradise to open the last inner door). That would mean you still only have 9 left at the end (since you spent the first one on the first door).

While looking for the answer to this same problem, I stumbled upon an 11th world location with another Warden Key in it that wasn't on the list. Go to 1312:7:1504, near the nose of the crashed ship to the NW of the Standard spawn area in the desert (about halfway to the Lost Paradise location) and I found an 11th world key. It's possible there are even more out there besides that one, but none of the guides I've come across so far listed more than 10 world locations.

I found 11 without any guides. And even wrote down their coordinates and simple description of an area where they were (thanks Steam for their new "Notes" feature). It sometimes uses weird terms which I used to name my bases in the game.
-921:87:-628 - lava area
1587:51:563 - ship on a cliff
1895:75:268 - near ship near waterfall
1437:75:-757 - circle ruins
1535:22:2220 - northern jungle
716:67:1708 - sand waterfall
-380:28:1493 - fog crater
-303:84:614 - waterfall next to zeolit area
1316:7:1503 - large ship
2375:97:1009 - waterfalls
1257:17:249 - east of ship on a hill, north of aluminum field

I heard there are certanly 12 (and maybe even 13) hidden keys in total and I am sure the full list is somewhere in one of the threads on steam.

It wasn't that hard to find them without guides. First one was the hardest when I didn't know how locator works, as I thought you will have to explore all suspicious places in different corners. But luckily I found the first key on the way to my base with teleporter, when I was ready to give up, right next to the base so I knew now that they are in the open and not hidden in the corners. After that it was easy to find the remaining 9 and then later I found 11th by accident pretty close to my main base.

Basically you check the map, find a biome or a large wreck where you didn't get a key yet and go there and run through the center of it or around the entrance if it has one. Most likely you will find it.
