It may be different now, but last time I tried letting drones stock the Incubator, you never got 1 of each item. You got all 3 Larvae, or all 3 Fertilizer, or 2 Larva and 1 Fertilizer, etc.
He wanted to make them ON DEMAND.
The ECO SYSTEM will generate all Larva, but not ON DEMAND. It randomly generates Larva based on each items rarity.
Default spawning is 120secs I believe.
I had 3 ECO SYSTEMS with multiple Optimizer's, time-dividing Larva generation down to one every 5 seconds or so. But you can never DEMAND a silk larva.
silkworms from the ecosystem have a 1/21 (4.7%) RNG chance. Having multiple ecosystems with optimizers will on paper produce lots of silkworms. (provided drones can auto get rid of all the butterfly/common/rare larva so they don't plug up). close to automated, but not direct demand.
If you want tons mass produced for a huge silk farm your best bet is still recycling bees for the uncommon larva and incubate into silkworms.
