Bee larva will appear with honey in the T2 bee hives. So that is the way to get alot.

My only question is... why do you need so many bees that the T2 hive just makes free bees?

Are you meant to make a gazillion beehives or something? I've yet to get THAT far in the Ti (I'm at like 500 GTi and don't have the T2 hive yet).

I already have those, and I'm nowhere near unlocking the T2 hive yet. Outside of maybe getting farms to grow beans for food to send up on rockets (TBH, Fabric gives 1 more TT per item and you can use production fuses to speed the silk growers up, so I'd rather just use fabric instead).

So other than growing Eggplants for Fertilizer, Mushrooms for Plastic (which isn't used all THAT often), or Squash for T2 fertilizer, not sure what you'd need more than 2-3 farms for?

Also makes me wonder WTF the unlock for Common Larvae is, later on down the path. I mean, they spawn constantly out in the open, why would you need to make them, and there's nothing that a Common Larvae makes other than that 120% butterfly.

Some people like to build big, because they can. Common larva + honey + mutagen = mutagen T2. I usually set up a couple of auto crafters for mutagen T2 in the Paradise city area for when I am looking for serena or golden butterflys.

In my case, I was trying to get my insects rolling and the best of my insect producers at the time, needed bees to make. I was getting tired of manually making them. I didn't have insect rockets yet, either.

If you want more uncommon larva for silkworms (or uncommon for the dna sequencer) you can take the bee surplus and put them through the shredder.

Also you need common larva to fabricate Mutagen-2, which is used for the best butterfly incubator recipes (chance at goldens)

best way to set up the T2 beehives.

Set supply of both honey and bees.
Honey goes off to wherever needed.
Have Bees container set at demand (1 or more): used for making farms, more hives, recycling for uncommon larva, etc.
Have a shredder set at demand (zero or less) for bees. It will only send them to shredding once all the other containers are full.

They are a fantastic source of DNA for the new animal rocket (you need 6 DNA per rocket).
