It's called GPS Satellite.
now i'd love to figure out if microchip - deconstruction tier 2 is also a random blueprint?
https://planet-crafter.fandom.com/wiki/Blueprint_microchip
is there a better storage for items beyond "locker storage" ?
T2 Locker, which you can buy the blueprint for using Terra Tokens once you have the trading platform unlocked.
Yes.
i also do this at the ore extractors with 1-2 compartments and lockers and maybe a t2 crafter.
I always found it annoying that each standard 1x1 living compartment will only fit 2 lockers inbetween the "ribs" if you put two of these 1x1 rooms together. You can fit a 3rd locker, but you have to stick it in front of the rib, and that only works on the T1 lockers, the T2 won't fit in there because it clips into the ceiling where the "rib" is. So really you can only fit 2 along the wall of a 1x1 cube. If they woulda made those lockers a tiny slice narrower, 3 would have fit neatly.
I can build 3 lockers deep and walk between them to access lockers on both sides.
I prefer to do this in the 2x2 room but it can be done in the 1x1.
is this something i can do all at once by cloning my save file before making a choice?
That's my plan. I'm just not finished getting my base the way I like it. After that, I'm going to copy my save file to a new folder and then going after the endings.
You just have to replace the old save after unlocking an ending and then tell Steam to use the local save file instead of the cloud save file. It will give you the option to do so. I've used this technique in other games with multiple endings.
I'm pretty sure you can get all the endings in the same save without copying files. See another current thread in the forum on this exact topic.
