For the T1 and T2, once you have the drones, simply place a shredder machine next to the ore extractor, set it to shred the items you don't want and the priority to -1. The drones will remove the items you don't want and put them in the shredder. Should you need those items (like a storage set to demand them), the drone will transport it to the storage bin until it is full and then shred them when it is full.
T1 beehive: costs 25 kW/s energy, gives 350 g/s plants and 15 g/s insect.
T2 beehive: costs 95 kW/s energy, gives 950 g/s plants, and 390 g/s insect.
yes the T2's produce bees that you may not necessarily want at the time. But they are over 20x more effective at raising the insect level for Ti, and they are needed for making outdoor farms, and insect rockets which will further boost the insect stat, that many have noted is hard to do with the standard means (butterfly farms and the like)
I just plunk a cubicle nearby the miner and put storage and an advanced craft station inside, then pop by occasionally, grab the dross and walk away with some more superalloy. Saves a LOT of trouble and time! :-D
I want the bees, but at some point, there are too many and they clog the production. My solution works fine though. And yes, the T2 is better than the T1 for insect production as someone pointed out.
I wish they had a machine that was completely automatic for deconstructing. We the recycler, but it just spits them out on the ground.
