Smuggler's Ending
I would like to know how the people that have used this ending got half a million credits. It seems a bit high to me.

i think a lot of them set up rockets with pulser quartzs and have auto crafting making and the drones sending them to the rockets and the portel recks are good for money

Set up auto factories drones to make rods and circuit boards and get the rockets to launch when full and then do portal runs looking for the fuses that sell for 5k hopefully get 2-3 per run, and sell any fuses you may be using, open up chests to get terra tokens that way also, it’s a real grind but that’s why it’s the hardest one to get according to steam achievements

There are two ways:
1. Create a trading rocket farm. Autocraft and sell the most profitable produce with several rockets (not sure about gains, they depend on how big of a farm you can create).
2. Run portals (I prefer 5/5) and clear vaults in wrecks there. Sell production and energy fuses that you get (~50k per each portal in 10-15 minutes).

My boyfriend and I just finished the games endings and that smuggler one was a TRUDGE. We had about 10 rockets, multipliers, drones/auto crafters everywhere. A lot of portal runs. I had to push for that since each rocket was only netting 300-500 per launch. Portal runs get you so much more much faster. We did high rarity low difficulty.

That was your mistake. Difficulty affects the amount of safes in the vault, so with 5 difficulty you have 5 safes while with difficulty 1 you only have 1 safe. Not sure what rarity affects, maybe quality of the loot so it is better to keep it high too as I don't know why lower quality can ever be better than higher one. So you should have been running 5/5 portals only. Each run takes ~10 minutes for 2 ships or 15 for three (or if you split the ships and only do 2 of them in each portal you can be done in 5 minutes). You get ~50k tokens per portal from finding tokens themselves and selling fuses that you found.

There is an easy way to solve the maze - use right or left hand rule (choose one of them and always keep it on the wall when you decide which way to go) and you basically linearize it and end up just going forward following the single line that leads you through the whole ship. But anyway, congrats on finishing it even if you choose a harder way to do it.

Sell all the fuses you find. Those are worth 5-6k for production/energy and 2.5k for the others. It's only worth crafting the Fusion cells and those are only 2k per rocket if full

Yeah i was grinding away but then i remembered i had a T2 locker half filled with fuses and one rocket got me a 136k now that was in my old save for a new save it comes more naturally by trading early and doing portal wrecks.

My strategy for getting this ending was two fold:

1. I setup a trading network that was producing Fusion cells.

I would constantly buy or find production fuses to make my farm more efficient.

Think of the fuses as an investment. I would ever once in a while look at my power screen to figure up how many t2 machine amplifiers that I had and less the few I used for power I would take that number times 15,000. Once I had enough TT between the fuses and what i had banked I went around and collected all my production fuses and sold them which for me was over 300,000 TT by the time that I was ready. I found good number of production fuses but I did buy a lot as well.

2. I would run wrecks to find fuses to either use or sell as well as finding TT.

For this, my strategy was high rarity low to medium difficulty. I did this so I could run more wrecks instead of more complicated ones. However, that being said, there is no right or wrong. I actually had a 1 difficulty and 1 rarity wreck that was insane. There was 2 wrecks there each with a vault so I made over 20k TT without even selling one fuse in less than 10 minutes.

I hope my strategy helps people.

As of 7/21/2024 - The value of the smugglers ending has dropped to 250000 tokens and 5 solar quartz. Just 100% the game today.

Ditto. Did 500 + solar and sold a lot of fuses and got lucky with some wrecks. Most recent play for 250 + solar, didn't even sell fuses : a very steady, no bother stream of silk and food + tended stream of fusion cells gets you enough TT well before 5TTi.

If you can get your Ozmium production to 12.5 per minute, and Iridium, Zeolite, and Uranium to 7.5 per minute, you can auto produce pulsar and fusion cells with minimal delay and no material shortages for chained and endless 2k launches.
