View Stats:
how much should you have at each stage?
im just wondering how many of the various terraforming things you should have built to swiftly progress at each stage? (including rockets, been hoarding them and only using them for the map upgrades)
mostly just been building 2 of whatever I unlock and just exploring about (only just at lakes and i have been to the zeolite fields and found a cave with magnetar quartz)

Whatever you have now, you need more of them. Soon enough they will all become obsolete and you will have to build the next tier. Try to balance the number of rockets to the number of highest tier machines

I dont know how many stations we have built. But I can tell you about the rockets. At the moment we have 100 rockets in the sky. I am not counting the GPS and map rockets.

30 - Flower Rockets
30 - Seed Rockets
and 20 each of the first two ones (Magnetic and dont know the name of the other one)

There is no rule. You can build whatever amount you want and it will progress. If you build more of them you will progress faster. So want to go faster - build more. You only pay with resources which are unlimited and can be recovered if you don't like what you built and your own time, but not a lot to actually matter.

I had at the end:
29 seed (o2)
8 asteroid (heat)
6 magnetic (pressure)
13 plant (plants)
13 insect (insects)
2 animal (animals)

Two t3 tree spreaders with 1200% and 450% seeds, 6 optimizers with 11 o2 fuses and 6 plant fuses, 2 t4 heaters, 16 t3 drills (decided not to bother with fuses for them). As you can see numbers are pretty spread out and not optimal at all, for example, it is pretty easy to increase o2 gains by 50% by simply adding another tree spreader or by sending another 15 rockets (I just need to carry resources from the storage and press launch, so it would take about 5 minutes if I wanted to do it). But there is no need to be optimal in this game you have the full freedom of doing whatever you want and you will still get to the end. And fuses basically break any balance. You place some optimizers and don't need to spread your machinery or build more than few pieces.

There are numerous ways to approach the game and they lead to different numbers of different things. Rather than try to build a fixed number of something, look at your unlocks screen, pick something you want to play with, and work to unlock it.

the more you build the quicker the TI goes up, im near end game and i have 12 T5 heaters with the T2 multiplyer thing with 3 fuses in each, thats for my heat and then i have 12 T5 pressure drills again with the same set up

4-8 of the best thing you can make. Same with rockets.
I have 16 fish and bees though, only exception.
