Bug in achievement - Craft 1000 Items

Does anyone have trouble getting this achievement? I feel like I've crafted 5000 items. I've even moved twice on the map...

Does anyone have any ideas?

I also use the auto-crafter.

I was able to get 55/55 achievements. Not sure if the autocrafter counts or not though.

Yes auto crafter counts as far as I know. I was able to get the achievement last week, but we did have an update today or yesterday.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have already crafted about 1,500 bottles of water, but there is still no achievement

How have you found that much ice?? Before you do, you would have water collectors. They is not considered as crafting.

Simply put water bottles from the water collector into the recycler, and then you get ice.

I have created a 100x100 grid of foundations - even there it doesn't work.

I can confirm that autocrafter counts, because I got my "craft 1000" achievement when I was away from the base, just flying somewhere.

I have this achievement.

I am not sure what counts towards the achievement.

My best guess is that items crafted at the crafting station, advanced crafting station and autocrafter will count towards the achievement. Building machines, furniture, and buildings may not count. I am not sure about items created in the DNA manipulator, biolab and Incubator.

This sounds correct. Now, that I think of it. The achievement popped up after an autocrafter made something in my play through. Pretty sure anything the extracts materials doesn't count towards it.

Foundations are building not crafting. Must be crafted items.

If crafting 1000 water bottles did not count, maybe there is a list of items which do not count towards the achievement because they can be harvested or collected? Such a list would exclude items like:
* water because it can be collected from Atmospheric Water Collector
* food grown in Food Growers
* algae because it is grown
* all resources that can be mined
* oxygen, methane and nitrogen because it can be collected from Gas Extractor

If you want that specific achievement, just start a new game with free build activated and spam the drill/heater T1 it works. You're welcom ^^

Your save file is here:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\MijuGames\Planet Crafter

Open the save file in Notepad and search for "craft". There is a line that says something like "craftedItems: #"

Change that number to 999, load the save, and craft 1 item.

This achievement is bugged for some, especially in MP. It's hardly cheating to take a craftedItems count that is already over 1000, and reduce it to 999 so you can actually get the achievement.

Then wait till it is fixed. I have only heard of a couple people with an issue. Mostly because they were not doing it correctly. Most games, keep you from getting them in creative mode or by altering saves. It's a shame this game is not the same. Will bring up in Discord.
